The first minute is the hardest
1,008 matches (54.6%) ended within 30 seconds. That makes the opening experience, immediate availability, and avoiding stale pairings more important than adding artificial queue time. The figures describe behavior; they do not prove why an individual left.
Language fit helps, but availability still matters
The snapshot contained 792 exact-language matches and 1,055 fallback matches. Anonity prioritizes compatible language without forcing people to wait when the live pool is thin. A fallback can preserve availability, while the product continues measuring whether the resulting conversation becomes mutual.
Methodology and limitations
These numbers were produced from aggregate match timing, participant activity, and message-count metadata. No raw chat text, Telegram ID, username, media, or personal profile is published or used in this page. The window followed an infrastructure recovery and data reset, the pool was relatively small, repeat pairing was high (1,021 matches, 55.3%), and all findings are descriptive rather than causal.
